ImageIt is always great to have a new member join your club and even greater when that person has a perpetual smile on her face. Such is the character and disposition of Alison Brownlee. She told us a bit about her upbringing and how she lived and worked on farms and picked fruit and learned how to trim the trees for better access to the fruit as well as to increase the yield of the harvest. She didn't complain about the moving or the hardships that caused at least one of those moves but instaed she spoke proudly and glowingly about her parents and her brother. Alison talked about her grand parents and how her Grandfather was a Rotarian who gave back to his community and how this had influenced her to join when she had been ask by me to become a member of our club. Alison failed to say that at the ripe old age of seventeen she was already attending Guelph University. We are glad that Alison brought her sunny disposition and desire to emmulate her Grandfather's dedication to Rotary, here to Huntsville and more particular the Rotary Club of Huntsville Lake of Bays where she is already Chair of the New Generations Committee.
