It's official! The latest TD Summer Reading Club has made its way to the Huntsville Public Library and with it comes a new library annex for Huntsville. Librarian Beth, left, poses for a photo with Rotary Club of Huntsville-Lake of Bays president Alison and fellow librarian (and Rotarian!) Amber shortly after the ribbon cutting ceremony on June 30.

Rotarian Amber, seen here in full youth services librarian mode, hands out summer reading club kits to kids as they register for the program, which was once again sponsored by the Rotary club. The club was delighted to help fund the tots, kids and teens prizes, which you can learn more about at huntsvillelibrary.ca, because literacy is one of Rotary's six areas of focus - that makes the summer reading club and its aim of increasing library use and a love of reading near and dear to our hearts.
And here is the annex, at the corner of Minerva and Centre streets, where the summer reading club launch took place. About 100 people attended the event. The annex project was funded through the town and the friends of the library.
