Last Monday night a team of Rotarians set on a special Culinary mission:  Provide hot, nutritious, lunches to the local hungry students.

By the end of the night kilos and pounds of sweet potatoes, onions, carrots, beans, tomatoes, squash, celery, meat.... and more were cut and prepped for cooking, packaging and freezing.

On Thursday, frozen squash soup, chowder and chili were picked up from Soul Sistas kitchen along with a extra "still-warm-just-out-of-the-oven" batch of biscuits by the HHS students.

The team is already planning to work on a carrot soup and a tomato soup, and of course some more biscuits to have ready for early next week.
