Snowshoes and Marshmallows, a recipe for Peace and Fellowship

At the beginning of our Rotary year Sakuji Tanaka, Rotary International President, has brought forward the theme of Peace through Service. At the end of his speech he asked us "to understand that peace, in all of the ways that we can understand it, is a real goal and a realistic goal for Rotary. Peace is not something that can only be achieved through treaties, by governments, or through heroic struggles. It is something that we can find and that we can achieve, every day and in many simple ways."

I want to put forward that the warmth of Fellowship in our club is also part of that Peace we can bring in the world. This has been the intend of the event on February 3rd, to share Peace and Fellowship with Rotarians, friends and family.
