The 2021 Santa's Light Up the Night Contest and Tour officially has its winners thanks to the voting public and Ol' Saint Nick.

The event, hosted by the Rotary Club of North Muskoka, saw 28 contestants in Huntsville and area decorate their homes or businesses with holiday lights for community members to enjoy during a self-guided tour from November 26 to December 9. Several tour stops also offered to collect food and toy donations for the Table Food Bank in Huntsville. People then cast their virtual ballots online for Best Decorated House and Best Decorated Business.

Thank you to everyone who entered the contest this year. You made the season sparkle for your community and we are so grateful for your creativity and community spirit! You also helped us collect roughly 200 pounds of donations for the food bank. Thank you!

And thank you, too, to everyone who took the tour this year, cast your ballot, and watched the finale. We hope you enjoyed the displays and felt a bit of holiday joy.

A special thank you to our club members, partners, donors, and sponsors too for helping us make this event possible. We could not have done it without you!

And, finally, thank you Santa and Mrs. Claus for taking time out of your busiest season to add some heft to our finale. We appreciate you taking questions from kids and kids-at-heart, and helping us announce our winners.
